Globe Telecom reminds Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi users to register their SIMs before the April 26 registration deadline to avoid deactivation.

The telco said they made SIM registration for Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi "easy, hassle-free, and rewarding."

You can follow these 5 steps to register your Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi SIM:
  1. Download the GlobeOne app on Google Play or Apple App Store and create an account using your mobile number.
  2. Connect to your Globe Home Prepaid WiFi device and enroll your account using the mobile number found in the modem box and click "Register Your SIM Now."
  3. Fill out the form. Upload 1 valid government ID and a selfie.
  4. Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
  5. Wait for the confirmation message and take note of the registration reference code.

To ensure a seamless registration process, Globe advises its customers to have all the necessary information and documents ready. These include the following:
  • Full name
  • Birthday
  • Sex
  • Address
  • The type of government ID presented
  • ID number
  • Government ID with photo

Moreover, you must affirm that the information you provided is true and correct.

For those unaware, the SIM Card Registration Act is required to combat the expanding problem of fraud and cybercrime committed with unregistered SIM cards.
