A factory reset will erase all user settings and restore the receiver to its default settings. In this article, you'll learn how to perform a factory reset on a SatLite box.

Before you proceed to the procedure, take note that all your saved channels and settings on your SatLite TV box will be erased. Therefore, make sure that you've tried all other troubleshooting options before performing a factory reset. You may try to perform a hard reset first: unplug your SatLite box from the main outlet, then wait for 15 seconds, and after 15 seconds, plug the SatLite box back into your main outlet, and it will automatically turn on and boot.
