PUBG Mobile is celebrating its 5th anniversary with new content, events, and other activities. The PUBG Mobile 5th Anniversary Update Version 2.5 will introduce new themed areas in the iconic map of Erangel as well as a new mechanic that will enable players to create unique gaming experiences on top of the action-packed looter-shooter gameplay. High Five to the Imagiversary: New Themed Areas
The 5th Anniversary update for PUBGM introduces a new twist to your classic battle royale matches by adding new areas and items to the map. In celebration of the Imagiversary, two new areas - Imagine Plaza and Imagination District - are introduced in Erangel and Livik, each with its own unique minigame mechanic and an abundance of advanced loot.
Imagination Plaza
A large themed area located in Erangel at Stalber and Quarry. While the Imagination Plaza is filled with many crates, the greatest reward is located in the largest crate in the center of the area. In exchange for enormous rewards, players will be challenged to seize full control of Imagination Plaza by occupying four key areas in competition with other teams.
Imagination District
A smaller themed area located between Erangel and Livik. The Imagination District, like the Imagination Plaza, contains a wealth of supply rewards that players can loot after capturing key areas. Moreover, taking control of the Imagination District results in looting advanced supplies.
In addition to these new areas, the PUBG Mobile 5th Anniversary update introduces new gameplay items that will give your battle for a chicken dinner a new twist.
A new defensive item known as Block Cover will be lootable from crates across the map, providing additional cover during gunfights and even serving as a bridge to cross terrain.
A Portable Trampoline will aid players in traversing long distances, and a new Dual-Purpose Cannon can launch various throwables much farther than a normal throw or even be used by players to launch themselves into the air for medium-distance traversal or EPIC killer plays.
And finally, there is the Supply Converter, which allows players to obtain new supplies by exchanging two supplies for one. In addition to typical Classic Mode supplies, the supplies can be converted into items from previous seasons or even brand-new items.
