Riot Games has announced the upcoming Valorant game mode, Premier, which will give players an opportunity to form a team and compete across a season of scheduled matches. Check out more information below.

Overview

Valorant's team-based competitive system, Premier, enables you to create a team and compete in a series of prescheduled matches.


In Valorant Premier mode, you will be able to create or join a team of up to five friends, acquaintances, or neighbors to contend for glory against teams of comparable skill.

After assembling a roster, your team will be placed in a division where you and your squad will play across a persistent set composed of a mix of weekly matches and tournaments.

Gaining the opportunity to compete in a Playoff Tournament as one of the best teams in your skill division by winning enough Premier matches.

To recall, in October 2022, Riot announced the Alpha version of Premier for Valorant players in Brazil.

Plans

Valorant is committed to developing a unique path to the professional ranks with Premier and providing opportunities for players from all over the world.

In the future, Premier will be the path to the VCT Challenger Leagues, eliminating the need for qualifier events; players who excel will have the opportunity to play in Challengers against pro Valorant teams.

From the Challenger Leagues, players can advance to the International Leagues and potentially reach Champions, Valorant's biggest esports tournament.

Soon, an early version of Premier will be available, allowing players to join the construction of the future of competitive Valorant.

Episode 6 Act 3 is scheduled to mark the debut of the Premier Global Beta.
