Valorant developer Riot Games revealed all the details about the VCT Pacific 2023 tournament, including the format, teams, schedule, and streams.
According to Riot Games, VCT Pacific is one of three international leagues in the new VCT structure that will provide a new method by which teams qualify for their premier-level global tournaments, Masters and Champions.
In a 10-week competition, VCT Pacific will pit ten of the finest teams from Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, and South Asia against one another to determine which teams will represent the Pacific region on the global stage. Teams will also compete for a total prize pool of USD 250,000.
The venue for VCT Pacific 2023 is the Sangam Colosseum in Seoul, South Korea. The 2-day Finals, however, will take place in the Jangchung Stadium.
VCT Pacific 2023 Format
League Play will commence with ten teams competing in a single round-robin. The format of matches will be best-of-three. The duration of the stage will be eight weeks.
Six teams will qualify from League Play and advance to the Playoffs, where they will compete in best-of-three double-elimination rounds. The semifinals and championship will be played in a best-of-five format.
The top three teams from the Pacific league will qualify for the Masters in June 2023, where they will face off against the best teams from the Americas and EMEA.
These top squads will also qualify for Champions in August 2023, where they will compete for the Valorant world championship. In July, the VCT Pacific Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) will give other Pacific teams one more opportunity to compete for a spot at Champions.

VCT Pacific will begin on March 25 and run until May 28. The tournament consists of three stages:

Playoffs: May 19 - May 22
